Co-creation Workshop

In February 2021 we held a co-creation event bringing together members of our three target communities to identify and develop shared resources.

Facilitated by Bridgeable, the virtual co-creation included 20 participants – 6 biology educators, 8 instructional designers, and 6 educational psychologists. Participants were from institutions in the US, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, and Australia. Educators represented community colleges and research institutions; designers were employed at institutions such as HHMI, Harvard, and private companies. The majority of educational researchers were employed by research institutions and universities. We identified 4 specific areas to serve as the basis for further development of the interdisciplinary VISABLI network. Our findings are summarized below.
